See saw of fitness

From the high of conquering the Fannie Bay Swim at the weekend I've descended to a low point with sore throat, sneezing, temperature and am now surrounded by a sea of used tissues.

And like all good triathletes I'm convinced that if I rest more than one day, my muscles will atrophy, my ultra-fit body (cough, splutter) will turn into a pile of mush and everyone in the latte lane will lap me when I finally get back to swim squad.
